  1. Download the A400.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
  2. Insert a blank formatted floppy disk into the computers floppy drive.
  3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click A400.EXE.
  4. At the "HMD-A400 Information File" box, leave the "A:" entry, and click the OK button. The .INF files for all three operating systems will be extracted onto the floppy disk.
  5. Leave the floppy disk in the drive.

The monitor INF files are now located on the floppy disk. Follow the Installation Instructions steps below to install the INF file.

Installation Instructions

The remaining portion of this procedure details how to install a monitor INF file. These instructions are broken into sections based on operating system.

Section I.  

What this drivers do:

This utility is a self-extracting file that contains the monitor .INF files.

Important Note:

  • A blank 3½ formatted floppy disk is required for this procedure.
  • To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
  • It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
