1. Download the ALD3G1NAG.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the ALD3G1NAG.EXE file to begin the installation.

The rest of the install procedure is dependent upon the operating system on which this driver is installed.
Please select your operating system from the list below.

• Windows ME Operating System
• Windows 2000 Operating System

Windows ME Install Procedure

1. At the "ALP Mouse Driver For Windows 2000 and Windows ME" Box, Click Next. Please wait for the software to check your computer model and ALPS Mouse driver version.
2. At the "InstallShield Wizard Complete" screen, verify that "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" is selected (if it isn't please select it) and click Finish.
3. After the computer restarts, the ALPS mouse hardware will be detected and the updated drivers installed.

The installation of the ALPS Mouse Driver is now complete.

Windows 2000 Install Procedure

1. At "Sony ALP Mouse Driver For Windows 2000 and Windows ME" Click Next. Please wait for the software to check your computer model and ALPS Mouse driver version.
2. If there is an "Information" screen, click OK.
   NOTE: For the Windows 2000 Clean Install system only: The system will reboot to confirm the system model. After the computer reboots, please continue at step 1 of the Windows 2000 Install Procedure above.
3. After the computer restarts, at the "Sony ALP Mouse Driver For Windows 2000 and Windows ME" box, Click Next.
4. At the "Digital Signature Not Found" window, click Yes.
5. At the "InstallShield Wizard Complete" screen, verify that "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" is selected (if it isn't please select it) and click Finish.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the ALPS Mouse (Touchpad) Driver is now complete.

• For Windows 2000 systems only: During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
