1. Download the ASA004MDLF.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the ASA004MDLF.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "BIOS 1004 Installation Utility For PCV-J200 - InstallShield Wizard" box, click Next. Please wait for BIOS file to copy to the floppy disk
4. Leave the floppy diskette in its drive, select "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" and click Finish. The computer will boot to the floppy disk and run the BIOS update utility. After the update is complete, the utility will exit to a command prompt.
5. Turn off the computer.
6. Wait a few seconds and turn the computer back on.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the BIOS is complete.

The utility will install the shipped (original) BIOS, revision 1004, for the Microsoft® Windows® Millennium Edition (Me) Operating System

• Before installing this BIOS revision, you will need to prepare a 3½ bootable floppy disk to receive the BIOS installation files. For additional assistance, please see Creating a Bootable Floppy Disk.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
