1. Download the CR-E12121801CQ04US.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double click the CR-E12121801CQ04US.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "Creative Sound Blaster® Audigy™ Device Driver for Microsoft® Windows® XP" box, click Next.
4. At the "License Agreement" dialog, read the agreement, then if you agree, click "I Agree".
5. At the "InstallShield Wizard" dialog, ensure the "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" option is selected, then click Finish to restart the computer.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the Creative Sound Blaster® Audigy™ driver is completed.

This utility will update the Creative Sound Blaster® Audigy™ device driver to resolve an issue where the "Digital (S/PDIF) out to External Processor" option is grayed out in the WinDVD® software after changing audio channels to "Enable S/PDIF output" in the Media Center audio settings.

• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
