1. Download the DOSGAME1.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the DOSGAME1.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "WinZip Self-Extractor - DOSGAME1.EXE" box, type C: into the Unzip to folder box and click Unzip.
4. At the "WinZip Self-Extractor" box, click OK.
5. Browse to the DOSGAME folder on the C: drive.
6. Place a blank formatted floppy disk into your A: drive.
7. Double-click on BIOS_60L.EXE. This file will self-extract into three files. Close the MS-DOS window.
8. Double-click on INSTALL_L.BAT.
9. System files and BIOS 6.0.L files will be copied to the floppy disk.
10. When prompted, close all windows and restart computer. Leave the floppy disk in the A: drive.
11. The install program will automatically update the BIOS.
12. When the upgrade is complete, there will be a message to press any key to restart the computer. If the computer does not restart by pressing a key, press and hold the power button until the system turns off. Remove the floppy disk and turn the computer back on to complete BIOS 6.0.L installation.
    NOTE: An error may appear regarding invalid configuration data; this is normal. At the prompt, press F1 to resume.
13. Label the floppy disk BIOS 6.0.L and save it. It can be used to restore your BIOS should the need arise.
14. Go to your download directory and double-click on update.bat.
15. When prompted, press 1.
16. A message will be displayed that your system has been updated. You must restart your system twice to enable the DOS game update.
17. Close the MS-DOS window.
18. Press any key to continue.
19. Restart your computer two times.
    
    1. Click Start.
    2. Click Shutdown.
    3. Select Restart and click OK.

You will now be able to play DOS games from the Microsoft® Windows® 98 Operating System.

• To install this upgrade, you will need to create a formatted floppy disk to receive the installation files. To prepare a floppy disk for use with this update, please refer to the How To Format A Floppy Disk Or Create A Bootable Floppy Disk procedure.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
