Download & Install Guide:

  1. Download the PIC2000.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
  2. Click Start, point to Settings, and click Control Panel.
  3. At the "Control Panel" window, double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
  4. At the "Add/Remove Programs" window, scroll and click to highlight the "Software Cinemaster" entry.
  5. Click the Add/Remove... button.
  6. At the "Confirm File Deletion?" window, click Yes.
  7. At the "Remove Shared File?" window, click Yes To All.
  8. At the "Remove Shared File?" box, click Yes to confirm the removal of the files.
  9. When the uninstall process is successfully completed, click OK.
  10. Click OK to close the "Add/Remove Properties" window.
  11. Click the X at the top-right corner of the "Control Panel" window to close it.
  12. Go to the folder where the DVD_2038.EXE file was downloaded and double-click on the DVD_2038.EXE file.
  13. At the "Sony DVD Player Upgrade" window, click Next.
  14. At the "The files needed to upgrade your system" screen, click Finish to copy the upgrade files to the default directory, C:WindowsTempDVD Player Upgrade (recommended).
  15. At the "Copying Completed!" window, click OK.
  16. At the "Welcome" window, click Next.
  17. At the "Choose Destination Location" window, click Next to accept the default directory (recommended).
  18. At the "Select Program Folder" window, click Next to accept the default Program Folder (recommended).
  19. At the "Start Copying Files" window, click Next.
  20. At the "DirectX Setup" box, click OK.
  21. At the "Setup Complete" box, select "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" and click Finish. The system will now restart and complete the installation.

What this drivers do:

This utility installs a DVD Player Upgrade to resolve the error message: "dvdplayer caused an invalid page fault in module cinmst32.dll at 015f:4b08df26." that occurs when changing sides of a two-sided DVD Movie, with Special Features, being played using DVD Player software and Play Movie is selected.

Important Note:

  • The pre-installed DVD Player application must be uninstalled before performing this upgrade. If it is not, the upgrade may not install or function properly.
  • To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
  • It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
