1. Download the F4X0KMDM.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the F4X0KMDM.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "Modem Driver Update for F480K and F490K - Welcome" box, click "Continue".
   NOTE: Several setup boxes will appear during the installation. As the installation continues, these boxes will close automatically.
4. At the "ReadOnly File Detected" box, click the box next to "Don't display this message again" to check it.
5. Click "Yes" to continue.
6. At the "Digital Signature Not Found" box, click "Yes".
7. At the "Setup Complete" screen, select "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" and then click "Finish".

The installation of the modem driver upgrade is now complete.

• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• Before installing this update, be sure the computer is connected to AC power.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
