Download & Install Guide:

  1. Download the FAT32WIN.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
  2. Insert a blank formatted diskette in A: .
  3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double click the FAT32WIN.EXE file to begin the installation.
  4. Click "Unzip".
  5. Click "OK".
  6. Click "Close"
  7. Reboot the computer from drive A: .
  8. AT the DOS command, type Fdisk.
  9. Press Enter.
  10. At the "Do you wish to enable large disk support?" statement, type N .
  11. Press "Enter".
  12. At the "Delete partition or Logical Dos Drive." section, select 3 .
  13. Press "Enter".
  14. At the "Delete Primary DOS Partition." section, select 1.
  15. Press "Enter".
  16. At the "Warning Data in the deleted primary DOS partition will be lost. What primary partition do you what to delete? section, select 2
  17. Press "Enter".
  18. At the "Enter volume Label." statement, type Sony_96 .
  19. Press "Enter".
  20. At the "Are you sure?" statement, type Y .
  21. Press "Enter".
  22. Press the "ESC" key.
  23. At the "Create DOS partition or logical DOS drive." section, select 1 .
  24. Press "Enter".
  25. At the "Create Primary DOS partition." section, select 1 .
  26. Press "Enter".
  27. At the "Do you wish to use the maximum available size for a primary DOS partition and make the partition active." statement, type Y .
  28. Press the "ESC" key to return to DOS.
  29. Reboot the computer from drive A:
  30. Type the DOS command: Format C: /S .
  31. At the "Proceed with Format" statement, type Y.
  32. At the "Enter volume Label." statement, type Sony_96 .
  33. Press "Enter".
  34. Reboot using the SRCD (System Recovery CD) to restore the computer.

What this drivers do:

This program creates a Start-up Disk with the FDISK utility.

Important Note:

  • During the installation of this file, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
  • To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
