1. Download the IVIDEOFX.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the IVIDEOFX.EXE file to begin the installation.
   NOTE: If a "Confirm File Deletion" box appears, you have already installed this update. Continue with steps in the uninstall section at the end of this page. Once the update has been uninstalled, repeat steps 4-6 to reinstall the driver.
3. At the "Locked File Detected" box, click the check box next to "Don't display this message again" (to check it), and then click Reboot.
4. At the "Intel 82815 Graphics Controller install is complete." screen, select "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" and then click Finish. As the computer restarts, the video hardware will be redetected and the drivers will be installed.
   NOTE: The installation of the updated drivers may reconfigure the video settings. To change the video settings back to the preferred settings, continue with the Changing Monitor Resolution section below.

The installation of the Intel(R) 82815 Graphics Controller Driver is complete.

Changing Monitor Resolution

The installation of the video drivers may reconfigure the display settings. To change the display settings back to the preferred settings, please follow the steps below.

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and click Control Panel.
2. At the "Control Panel" window, double-click the Display icon.
3. At the "Display Properties" box, click the Settings tab.
4. In the "Settings" tab, under the "Screen area" section, adjust the slider to your preferred resolution.
5. In the "Colors" section, click the down-arrow and select your preferred color depth.
6. Click the Apply button.
7. If a "Display Properties" message box appears stating that the Desktop will be resized, follow the steps below. Otherwise, skip to step 8.
   1. At the "Display Properties" message box, click OK to resize the Desktop. The screen may flicker or turn black briefly as the resolution is resized.
   2. At the "Monitor settings" confirmation box, click Yes to accept the new resolution.
      NOTE: If you do not click Yes within 15 seconds, the resolution will revert to the previous settings.
8. If a "Compatibility Warning" message box appears, verify that "Apply the new color settings without restarting?" is selected and click OK. Otherwise, continue with step 9.
9. Click OK to close the "Display Properties" box.
10. Click the X in the top-right corner to close the "Control Panel" window.

Uninstall Instructions

If it is necessary to reinstall the Intel(R) 82815 Graphics Controller drivers, you will need to first remove the IVIDEOFX.EXE installation files. To do so, please follow these steps:

1. Go to the directory where the IVIDEOFX.EXE file was downloaded and double-click it.
2. At the "Confirm File Deletion" box, click OK to remove all of its components. Please wait as the installation files are removed.
3. At the "Maintenance Complete" screen, click Finish.

The uninstallation process is complete. You may redownload and reinstall the IVIDEOFX.EXE file.

This utility installs the Intel® 82815 Graphics Controller (Display) driver.

• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
