1. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
2. Download the MTFOPD-00581704-US.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the MTFOPD-00581704-US.EXE file to begin the installation.
4. At the "Matsushita® UJDA750 DVD/CD-RW Drive Firmware Update for Microsoft® Win..." screen, click "Next".
5. At the "License Agreement" dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Agree" to continue with the installation.
6. At the "F/W Loader UJDA750 ver1.51 for VAIO" box, open the disc tray by pressing the eject button, then click "OK".
7. At the next "F/W Loader UJDA750 ver1.51 for VAIO" box, click "OK"
   NOTE: At this point the drive will be updated with the new firmware. This process may take a few minutes.
   IMPORTANT: Do not close the ejected drive until after the firmware update is complete.
8. At the "Successfully completed" screen, click "EXIT".
9. Turn off the computer.
10. Wait 30 seconds then turn on the computer.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the Matsushita™ UJDA750 DVD/CD-RW Drive Firmware Update is complete.

This utility updates the Matsushita™ UJDA750 DVD/CD-RW Drive Firmware to version 1.51 and provides support for Double Layer DVD+R reading (Multi session disc read is not supported).

WARNING!! This firmware update is specifically for Matsushita® UJDA750 DVD/CD-RW drives. Do not run this update if you do not have one of these drives in the computer.

Please eject any CDs or DVDs that may be in the DVD/CD-RW drive before you run this update.

During the installation of this file, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
