1. Download the NET5W2K.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the NET5W2K.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "Intel 82557-based PCI Ethernet Driver 5.00.68 W2K - InstallShield Wizard" box, click Next. Several setup boxes will briefly appear during the installation. As the files are installed, these boxes will close automatically.
   NOTE: If a "Digital Signature Not Found" box appears, click Yes.
4. At the "InstallShield Wizard Complete" screen, select "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" and click Finish. As the computer restarts, the Ethernet hardware will be redetected and the drivers will be installed.

The installation of the Intel 82557-based PCI Ethernet Driver is complete.

• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
