1. Download the NG537ME.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the NG537ME.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "nVidia GeForce2 MX Display Adapter Driver Utility for Microsoft Windows Millennium - Welcome" box, click Next. Several setup boxes will briefly appear during the installation. As the files are installed, these boxes will close automatically.
   NOTE: If either a Severe error: "OpenFile 1 failed", or a message that the update is not for your model of computer appears, please check the list of Known Issues.
   NOTE: If a "ReadOnly File Detected" box appears, click the box next to "Don't display this message again" to check it and then click Yes.
4. At the "InstallShield Wizard Complete" screen, select "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" (if it isn't already selected) and click Finish. As the comptuer restarts, the video hardware will be redetected and the updated drivers will be installed.
   NOTE: If a "Confirm File Deletion" box appears, you have already installed this update. Click OK to remove the existing installation files and then repeat steps 4-7 to reinstall the update.
5. At the "System Settings Change" box, click Yes to restart the system again.
   NOTE: If a "Display" warning box appears after the computer restarts, click OK and follow the steps below.
   1. At the "Display Properties" box, click the Settings tab.
   2. In the "Settings" tab, in the "Screen area" section, adjust the slider to your preferred resolution.
   3. Click the Apply button.
   4. At the "Display Properties" message box, click OK to resize the Desktop. The screen may flicker or turn black briefly as the resolution is resized.
   5. At the "Monitor settings" confirmation box, click Yes to accept the new resolution.
      NOTE: If you do not click Yes within 15 seconds, the resolution will revert to the previous setting.
   6. Click OK to close the "Display Properties" box.
   7. Click the X in the top-right corner to close the "Control Panel" window.

The display adapter driver installation is complete.

This utility will install an updated, WHQL-certified nVIDIA® GeForce2™ MX Display Adapter Driver.

• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
