1. Download the PWR_PNL.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double click the PWR_PNL.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "Welcome" window, click Next.
4. At the "Choose Destination Location" window, click Next.
5. Click to select the "Yes" check box to run the PowerPanel utility.
6. Click Finish.
7. Click OK.

The installation of the PowerPanel utility is complete.

This program upgrades the PowerPanel™ utility to resolve the the following issues that occur after you upgrade the computer to the Microsoft® Windows® 98 operating system:

• The PowerPanel utility help files incorrectly refers to the Microsoft® Windows® 95 operating system.
• Other abnormalities.

• During the installation of this file, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
• Print out a copy of the README.TXT file which appears toward the end of the installation for reference.
