1. Download the SCOMM130.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Place a blank formatted floppy disk into your A: drive.
3. Go to the folder where the SCOMM130.EXE file was downloaded and double-click on the SCOMM130.EXE file.
4. At the RingCentral message box, click OK to proceed.
5. At the second RingCentral message box, click Yes to proceed. The patch will install.
   NOTE: If it does NOT install, it may be because the wrong version has been downloaded for your computer. Please download and install the update again.
6. The next time Sony Communication Center is run, you will be need to complete the Setup Wizard. To keep your current settings, click Next in each setup screen, and then click Finish.

It is suggested that you save this upgrade on a floppy disk for future reference. After the file has been saved to a floppy disk, it can be deleted from the download directory on the hard drive.

This update resolves an issue where faxes cannot be printed on Hewlett Packard printers using the 800 print engine, such as the 820Cse, and may include other printers as well.

• If Sony Communication Center is ever reinstalled, it will also be necessary to reinstall this update.
• To install this upgrade, you will need to create a formatted floppy disk to receive the installation files. To prepare a floppy disk for use with this update, please refer to the How To Format A Floppy Disk Or Create A Bootable Floppy Disk procedure.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
