1. Download the SO-P00000C03CL.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SO-P00000C03CL.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "Sony® Memory Stick® Slot Firmware Update Tool - InstallShield Wizard" box, click "Next".
4. At the "InstallShield Wizard" box, click "Next".
5. At the box with the text "InstallShield Wizard Complete", click "Finish".

The installation of the Sony Memory Stick Slot Firmware Update Tool is complete. To continue updating your Memory Stick Slot to use and recognize Memory Stick PRO Media, proceed with the following steps.

This utility will install the Sony® Memory Stick® Slot Firmware Update Tool for Memory Stick PRO™ media.

• To install this update, you will need to have a Memory Stick® media available. Please note that Memory Stick PRO™ media cannot be used to install this update.
• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
