1. Download the SO-P22800802EF.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SO-P22800802EF.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "Sony W Series Computer Keyboard Closure Utility - 1.3.00.02170" screen, click Next. Several setup boxes will briefly appear as the files are extracted and the computer model is identified. As these processes complete, the boxes will close automatically.
4. At the "InstallShield Wizard Complete" screen, click Finish to restart the computer.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the SONY® Keyboard Closure Utility is complete.

NOTE: The computer screen width must set to 1280 pixels for the Motion Clock to launch when the keyboard is closed. Follow the steps below to set the display resolution to 1280 x 768.

1. Click the Start button, and then click Control Panel.
2. In the Control Panel window, click the Display icon.
3. In the Display Properties window, click the Settings tab.
4. On the Settings tab, click and drag the Screen resolution slider to the 1280 x 768 resolution.
   NOTE: If the 1280 x 768 display resolution is not available, download and reinstall the SIS 650 Graphics Controller Driver for your computer model and then repeat these steps to select the correct display resolution.
5. Click the OK button.

This utility will install the Sony® Keyboard Closure Utility, version 1.3.00.02170, for the Microsoft® Windows® XP Operating Systems.

• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
