1. Download the SO-Q12021803HB04US.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SO-Q12021803HB04US.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "SonicStage Mastering Studio Upgrade Program for Microsoft® Windows® XP" screen, click Next.
4. At the License Agreement dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Agree" to continue with the installation.
5. At the "Welcome to InstallShield Wizard for SonicStage Mastering Studio Upgrade Program" Welcome screen, click Next.
6. At the "Confirm UnInstall" screen, click OK.
7. On the "Shared File Detected" dialog, check the "Don't display this message again" check box, and click Yes.
8. At the "InstallShield Wizard Complete" Maintenance screen click Finish.
9. At the "Welcome to InstallShield Wizard for SonicStage Mastering Studio" Welcome screen, click Next.
10. At the "InstallShield Wizard SonicStage Mastering Studio Complete" screen, click Finish.
11. At the "InstallShield Wizard SonicStage Mastering Studio Upgrade Program Complete" screen, click Finish.

Installation of the SonicStage Mastering Studio Upgrade Program is complete.

This utility updates the SonicStage® Mastering Studio application to resolve an issue where problems occur when importing music files in WAV format when the SonicStage® version 2.1 application is installed.

In addition, this update improves compatibility with the Microsoft® Windows® XP Service Pack 2.

• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
