1. Download the SO-Q22000E03C404US.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double click the SO-Q22000E03C404US.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "Sony PictureGear Slide Show Update" box, click "Next"
4. At the "License Agreement" dialog box, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Agree".
5. At the "Information" box, click "Next".
6. At the "Question" box, click "Yes".
7. At the "Setup has finished installing PictureGear 5 upgrade program on your computer" screen, click "OK".

The installation of the PictureGear™ Slide Show update and the Sony® Application error patch is complete.

This utility installs the Sony® PictureGear™ software patch to resolve the following issues:

• An error message appears when trying to view a PictureGear™ Slide Show using an image stored on an Optical or Removable Drive.
• The error message "This Application Runs only on Sony VAIO Series Code = (25)" appears when you try to open a Sony® Application after installing the SOP2004BBF.EXE update.

• This utility is only for use with the Sony VAIO® Desktop computers with Sony® PictureGear™ 5.0 and 5.1 installed software. For the new version 5.1.01.12130 it is not necessary to install this patch.
• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
