1. Download the SO-Q52100803FP04US.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double click the SO-Q52100803FP04US.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the "VAIO Entertainment Platform Version 1.0.04 Update Program" box, click OK.
4. At the "License Agreement" dialog box, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Agree".
5. At the "Welcome to InstallShield Wizard for VAIO Entertainment Platform" screen, click Next.
6. Click OK to restart the computer.

After the computer restarts, the installation of the VAIO® Entertainment Platform update utility is complete.

This program updates the SONY® VAIO® Entertainment Platform to resolve the following issues:

• Files are not registered when the computer shuts down while importing many files.
• Deleting a folder that has a large amount of content takes a long time.
• A blank line appears in the VAIO® Media Console list box, when a registered folder is deleted.

• During the installation of this file, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
