1. Download the SO-Z09110801IQ.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SO-Z09110801IQ.EXE file to begin the installation. Please wait as the utility extracts setup files and verifies your computer model.
3. At the "Sony USB Streaming Driver For Windows XP - InstallShield Wizard" message box, click Next.
4. At the "Update Finished Successfully" box, click OK.

Installation of the USB 2.0 Driver - Streaming USB Patch is complete. You may now connect your camcorder to the computer.

An error occurs and the computer restarts when a digital camcorder is connected to the computer while in USB streaming mode.

• During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
• It is recommended that the camcorder be disconnected from the computer during this update.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
