1. Download the WXCPTN.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the folder where the WXCPTN.EXE file was downloaded and double-click on the WXCPTN.EXE file. The program executes immediately.
3. Close the MS-DOS window.
4. Double-click on INSTALLSP.BAT. INSTALLSP.BAT executes immediately.
5. Close the MS-DOS window.
6. Close all windows and applications and restart the computer.
7. When you open the VOICEVIEW (SOS) speakerphone panel, you will notice that the two volume adjustment arrays have been deleted. These adjustments are now preset.

It is suggested that you save this upgrade on a floppy disk for future reference. After the file has been saved to a floppy disk, it can be deleted from the download directory on the hard drive.

This program presets the volume levels of the microphone and loudspeaker for circumstances when you cannot successfully set these devices manually.

• Performing a Recovery of the Windows directories will overwrite this version of this file. You may wish to store WXCPTN.EXE on a floppy disk to reinstall in that event.
• To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
• It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
